In response to the urgent needs in North Carolina, we are mobilizing a relief effort on behalf of the

Urban Leagues of Central Carolinas (ULCC) and the Winston-Salem Urban League (WSUL).

Our goal is to gather essential supplies and resources to support those affected and help restore hope and stability to our communities.

We appreciate the dedication of both ULCC and WSUL as they work tirelessly in Asheville and other impacted areas. Together, we can ensure that those in need receive the assistance necessary for recovery. As we move forward, we remain committed to equipping individuals with the tools they need to rebuild their lives.

CURRENT NEEDS ARE:

Hygiene Bags for Men and Women:

• Socks, disposable razors, shaving cream, deodorant, lotion, soap, washcloths, baby wipes, sanitary products for women, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.

 

Cleaning Buckets: These buckets will be used to help families clean and disinfect their homes.

• 5-gallon buckets with lids, Bleach, sponges, Lysol or other cleaning agents, gloves, scrub brushes, trash bags, and dish detergent.
   

Food Baskets: Water is scarce and convenience is paramount.

• Paper plates, paper towels, paper cups, disposable utensils
   

Youth: Diapers, baby wipes, baby formula, small toys, batteries
 

Bonus Supplies:

• Mini Grills, Charcoal, lighters

• Small Solar generators

• Starlink or satellite devices to access internet

• Brooms, dust pans, cordless (battery) leaf blowers
